Investment Education for International Students
Build your financial knowledge while studying in Australia. We help international students understand investment fundamentals and navigate money management during their educational journey.
Get StartedUnderstanding Student Banking and Investment Options
Moving to Australia brings new financial responsibilities. Opening a local bank account is just the start – understanding how banking works here matters.
Most international students focus on budgeting and saving. But learning about investment basics now can set you up for later. We're talking about understanding interest rates, simple investment products, and how money actually grows over time.
And honestly? The Australian financial system can feel confusing at first. Different terms, different products, different rules than what you might be used to back home.
Your Financial Learning Path
First Semester: Foundation Basics
Start with budgeting and understanding Australian banking. Learn what a term deposit is, how savings accounts actually work, and why exchange rates matter when you're sending money home.
Second Semester: Investment Concepts
Once you've got banking sorted, we introduce basic investment ideas. Shares, bonds, ETFs – what they are and how they differ. No pressure to invest anything, just understanding the landscape.
Year Two: Building Knowledge
Dive deeper into risk management and long-term thinking. This is where students start connecting their career plans with future financial goals. Real-world stuff that applies whether you stay in Australia or head home after graduation.
Final Year: Practical Application
Work through case studies and scenarios relevant to your situation. What happens with superannuation when you leave? How to think about investments across different countries? These workshops run throughout 2025 and into 2026.
Support Designed for Your Situation
Workshops in Plain English
We skip the jargon. Financial terms get explained clearly, with examples that make sense for students managing study, work, and life in a new country.
Flexible Learning Schedule
Sessions fit around your study timetable. Evening workshops, weekend catch-ups, and recorded content you can review whenever. Next intake starts September 2025.
Cross-Border Considerations
Your financial future might span multiple countries. We help you think through how investment knowledge applies both here and back home, considering different systems and regulations.
Peer Learning Groups
Connect with other international students navigating similar questions. Sometimes hearing how someone else figured out their banking setup helps more than any textbook explanation.

I've worked with students from over 30 countries since joining BraynKraaft in 2019. The questions you're asking about money? I've probably heard them before.
Most students arrive worried about budgeting. By their second year, they're asking smarter questions about how to actually build wealth. That progression – watching it happen – that's what keeps this work interesting.
Our next information session is in July 2025. Come ask questions. Bring your concerns about visas, tax implications, whatever's on your mind.
